SIX SONGS FOR INVISIBLE GARDENS

We’ve all melted with pleasure that all those years ago, Mort Garson got his synths out and created ‘Plantasia’ – a record to soothe your houseplants.

If you wished there were more records like this, welcome to Olive Ardizoni’s relatively recent work – ‘Six Songs For Invisible Gardens’.

Under the name Green-House, this is the latest ambient LP that feels like a future classic, and you can still get a copy on vinyl and cassette, so don’t sleep on this (and then have a sleepy time with it when it gets delivered, of course).

The album is very gentle and meditative, and as you’d hope, sounds and feels incredibly organic mixing natural sounds with the pleasant murmur of synthesisers.

Leaving Records say that Olive “approached the project with an intentional naivety, they craft songs that find freedom through simplicity.”

If you want to try before you buy, have a listen here.

Gorgeous stuff.
