The Notwist’s ‘Neon Golden’ LP is an all-time great for those who like electronics and rock music to fully merge into each other. Well, good news for fans of the German group – they’ve got a new record coming out!
It’ll be called ‘News from Planet Zombie’ and it will be their first record in half a decade, and you’ll be able to hear the whole thing on March 3rd 2026, released on the excellent Morr Music.
Markus Acher of the group says: “In the title and some lyrics I reference B- and horror-movies, which is a reference to the crazy world at the moment, which seems to be like a really bad and unrealistic B-movie.”
The first single is ‘X-Ray’ and you can listen to it right now.
