It is so nice to hear some music that is influenced by psychedelic music, but doesn’t lean wholly on that fuzz pedals and drone stuff that most gravitate toward. We geddit. We like Suicide and the Velvets too. And so, to Eggs On Mars.
They’ve decided that instead of black denim jackets and Chelsea boots, it’d be more fun to channel some music like Nilsson, Beach Boys, and those ace one-hit soft-poppers from the ’60s like Left Banke and Harpers Bizarre.
They’ve got an album coming out on March 3rd on Enigmatic Brunch Records, and you can imagine rightly that it’ll appear on various streaming services and whatnot. Of course, we’ll implore you to have a look at their Bandcamp too, should you want to chuck them a couple of coins.
Until the album, see what you think about their lead single from it, called ‘Good Morning (I Love You)’, which is as cute as a button.
