MICHELLE SARA’S SLOW SYNTHPOP

You think synthpop and [insert]wave might be done and dusted, but then someone releases a single and it all comes flooding back, and just why you love analogue synths and ’80s arpeggio basslines so much.

And so, to Michelle Sara’s new single – ‘Forever’ – which is a slow, bubbling thing which really ticks the boxes. It sounds smart and has good taste, but didn’t forget to be a pop song either. Nice!

The artist hails from Romania but has been trying to make a fist of it in London, and this is a mega-slick number that’s just moody enough to keep things interesting.

Stop messing around and have a listen.
