Aldous Harding has released a new track and what we’ve learned from it is, the new album of hers is shaping up to be very, very good indeed. The LP goes by the name of ‘Train on the Island’, and you can hear the whole thing on May 8th.
The first single was ‘One Stop’ which was featured on these pages, and is Harding in her usual idiosyncratic greatness, and the new song ‘Venus in the Zinnia’ is different, but equally fantastic.
The new one features H. Hawkline in the video, and we looked up Zinnia – it’s a nice flower. There might be deeper meanings to all this, but you’re going to have to do some of the work on this one and decide for yourself by listening to the music.
