Peggy Gou is a goodtime producer and the South Korean DJ and music-maker has a new bop out which is perfect for the incoming good weather. It’s called ‘Lobster Telephone’ (inspired by the Dali piece, you’d assume) and is taken from her imminent debut LP on XL Records called ‘I Hear You’.
Of the new album she says: “‘I Hear You’ is more than just my debut album. It embodies countless hours of dedication in my journey to create something timeless, and is a testament to the power of listening, to ourselves and to each other.”
Crikey. Anyway, she’ll be playing the festivals this year and presumably some warm-up shows. If you don’t know to follow someone on Instagram or sign up for their mailing lists by now, then there’s no helping you. That’s how you miss out on things isn’t it? We can only point you in the right direction.
Until then, press play on this fine slice of brightly coloured house music.
