Everything But The Girl are back and it’s easy to worry about such a thing, because older acts can embarrass themselves sometimes. Not the case with Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt though because they love pop music and don’t muck around.
It’s their first new tune in 24 years and it’s called ‘Nothing Left To Lose’. If you want to skip all the reading and just go to the video below, we wouldn’t blame you. You’ll be thrilled to know it’s a bop too. Elegant pop music – we’re all for it.
They’ll have an LP out too called ‘Fuse’ and if the new track is anything to go by, it should be a little gem!
They’re not a band known for being nostalgic as such, and this sounds fresh as a daisy. Here’s hoping we’re not all complaining about how slept on the whole thing has been and the project is a smash.
