Did you know Mac DeMarco has a new LP out? And did you know it has 199 songs on it? What’s he like eh, the daft sausage. He’s a charming bugger, so instead of being wordy and worthy, we figured we’d let him do the hard work and we’d just share a video where he explains why he’s put 199 songs on his new LP.
His speaking voice is very soothing, so y’know, it’ll be a nice listen.
If you don’t want to listen to a video because you’re skiving at work or sat in bed trying to have a bit of quiet time, then the answer is basically ‘I had a lot of songs that were on the hard-drive and I figured it was time to share them, even if some of them are very short and maybe not wholly finished’.
