Impossibly handsome and every bit as broken – Syd Barrett is one of the faces of the psychedelic movement, and yet, still so enigmatic. With that, there’s always going to be interest in him, how he founded and named one of the biggest band’s in the world and, to many, his time in the band is the only period they like of Pink Floyd.

And so, there’s a new film about his life, looking at his rise to stardom, and his subsequent breakdown. It’ll be interesting and possibly explosive stuff. It features all of his Floyd mates as well.

Named after a song/in-joke he had in the group, the film is called ‘Have You Got It Yet?’ and it’ll premiere across Everyman Cinemas from Monday 15th May in the UK.
