This is totally on us really, but we assumed Devendra Banhart was still making acid-folk, but we’re basing that on information in our head that is well over a decade old.

Anyway, if you’re not surprised, we were taken aback by his new single which is all synthy and fully produced (by Cate Le Bon, no less) and it’s decent. It’s called ‘Twin’ and you’ll find it on new and imminent LP ‘Flying Wig’ in September.
