We didn’t quite know how to word the headline but wanted to let you fans of Jim Noir and Soundcarriers know about a new LP that needs to be on your radar.
The new album is from Co-Pilot who are comprised of Alan Roberts (Jim Noir) and Leonore Wheatley (The Soundcarriers, International Teachers of Pop) – both hugely talented in their own right, and is called ‘Rotate’.
It’s a genre hopping and cool thing and if you need to try-before-you-buy, they’ve sneaked out a track called ‘Move To It’ which will almost certainly by right up your street!
“We’d communicate through nods of agreement or grimaces of dismay,” Leonore says. “Using the instruments with Al in production mode, we let the sound dictate the process whilst being drunk enough to follow it.”
The album is available on violet coloured vinyl (very nice) and you can buy your copy right now! The lovely Norman Records have it on sale here and it’s a limited run, so don’t hang about.
