You may have heard the brilliant Plantasia LP by Mort Garson – a gorgeous analogue synth LP designed to help your houseplants grow from 1976 – and if you have and get rightly excited about such things, there’s some good news!
A new collection of his music is due out next month and it’s called ‘Journey To The Moon And Beyond’ and, predictably, it’s impossibly gorgeous.
It is compiled from music that Garson wrote for TV, movies, and advertising and released on Sacred Bones. You’ll be able to pre-order it from your fave record shop no doubt, and it’ll be hitting the shelves on July 21st.
If you’d like to listen to a song from it, a visualiser has been made for his ‘Zoos Of The World’ track which will have you floating directly upwards out of your seat in absolute bliss.
