It’s a bit silly assuming bands are good just because they come from a certain place, but certain countries definitely make us prick our ears up more quickly than others. One such country is Wales, despite being responsible for a fair amount of mid-table indie. No such problems with Islet who have a new song out called ‘River Body’ which is wild and wonderful!

There’s a new LP due called ‘Soft Fascination’ in September and this new one from it is making us think it’s going to be very good, very fun and very unique!

It kinda reminds us of late period Talking Heads (the imperial Tina Weymouth years) with a heavy dose of psychedelics thrown in. There’s a lovely sense of mischief about this track, so now, we’re really sitting up and taking notice.
