Remember in the ’90s, there was something of a boom of ace alt-country rock? Well, say it quietly, but it might be making something of a comeback and the new one from the superbly named Illuminati Hotties is proof of that.

They have a new out called single ‘Truck’ which is a nice chugger and has a killer line of “heaven is a truck, the 710 is slammed but you don’t give a fuck.” Not really sure what that means, but it sounds real cool.

Is there a new LP? We’re not sure yet, but we’ll have this on repeat for a while to tide us over.
