We, along with everyone else, was right about the Hackney Diamonds thing, in that it was a new LP from the Rolling Stones. That’s the name of the imminent album and there’s a new song we can listen to called ‘Angry’.

The song itself? Well, it sounds like The Stones which is exactly what you’re looking for really. If we’re pushed, we think it lies in the ’80s Stones sound, so imagine the clank of ‘Undercover Of The Night’ and the big, slabby chops of ‘Start Me Up’. Is it as good as either of those? Probably not, but then we’ve not been listening to this for decades, so it’s unfair to judge it too quickly.

The video is a nifty little number with different eras of the band playing on billboards – it’s a cool effect. What everyone’s eyes will be on is Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney, who is writhing around a convertible and generally being incredibly attractive and young and cool. You already know the score.

The album comes out on October 20th.
