Sometimes you need a track that just punches you square in the face and runs away cackling like they’ve done you a favour. Handily enough, the new one from Hit Bargain does exactly that.

It’s chaotic and loud and dafter than a bag of lit fireworks.

The band are made of members of Pains of Being Pure at Heart, These Are Powers, North Highlands, and Cold Beat and we can’t lie – we cut and pasted those words because we didn’t listen to any of those bands. On the strength of this, maybe we’ve been missing out?

Anyway, debut LP ‘A Dog A Deer A Seal’ is out in November and if you need your appetite whetting, then here’s ‘Degree Decree’ from it and it absolutely bangs.
