All the hipster girls fancy him, and all the boys wish they were mates with him – Bill Ryder Jones has carved a great niche for himself in recent years and with his new single – ‘This Can’t Go On’ – he might be about to release some career-best music. Here’s hoping eh?

There’s also going to be a new LP too, called ‘Iechyd Da’, which will be his fifth outing.

The press release for ‘Iechyd Da’ says: “I haven’t been this proud of a record since A Bad Wind Blows in My Heart,” and sounds like it’s going to be a hugely emotional affair.

Let’s listen to the new single shall we, and see what we all think.

You’ll be glad to hear that there’s some real heads on this outing too, including Teenage Fanclubber Gerry Love, the genius of Mick Head, and the wildly talented Saint Saviour.
