To celebrate Lou Reed’s birthday the other day (he would have been 82), Keef Richards decided to do a cute cover of ‘I’m Waiting For The Man’ by The Velvet Underground.

It might all feel a bit unnecessary, but it’s nice all told, eh? Besides, Light In The Attic are putting an album out called ‘The Power Of The Heart: A Tribute To Lou Reed’ on RSD, April 20th. Obviously, this is on it. It’s a pretty faithful reading because, why would you want to muck around with Lou’s songs unless you’re Lou himself?
