THEPOPCORPS saw GEL supporting thrashsploitation legends Municipal Waste and they were brilliant. They’ve since got themselves a new record deal and to celebrate, they’ve got new music out for you.

For our money, they’re the most fun hardcore band on the circuit (we’re no experts, mind you – but we like what we like) and mix up sludgy grunge with heavy, heavy punk and in August there’ll be a new EP for you to get your mitts on called ‘Persona’.

The lead track from it is called ‘MIRAGE’ and it should have you wanting to windmill into the nearest mass of bodies on impact. If you see these on a lineup or bill, and you like extremely loud music with a sprinkling of magic, then you really need to catch these. Until then, all you need to do is press play below.
