BLUR DOCUMENTARY TRAILER

Documentaries about bands are great, even when they’re kinda crappy. We’ve no reason to think that this new one will be crappy, we’re just saying. Anyway, Blur have announced a new film called ‘Blur: To The End’ which looks at the recording of the (surprisingly good ‘The Ballad of Darren’ LP which we reviewed and should probably link to but can’t be bothered) and presumably, will be filled with magical slo-mo moments from their massive shows which followed it.

The blurb says: “Blur: To The End follows the unique relationship of four friends – and bandmates of three decades – Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree as they came together in early 2023 to record new songs ahead of their sold-out, first ever shows at London’s Wembley Stadium in July last summer.”

“Featuring performances of their most iconic, much-loved songs, footage of the band in the studio and life on the road, Blur: To The End is an intimate moment in time with this most enduring of English bands, who have been at the heart of British cultural life and influence for over three decades.”

It is due out on July 19th and we hope it’ll appear on one of the apps we use for watching telly because we’re going to torrent it if it isn’t. It will be on at the cinema though and you can find out more here.
