Madonna promised that she’d be leading us back to the club (where you can dance – for inspiration, c’mon!) when she said a sequel to the mighty Confessions of a Dancefloor was coming our way.

Well, now it is totally official, with ‘Confessions II’ getting released on July 3rd. And there’s a teaser to whet your appetite too, which sounds pretty great! Classic Madonna, even!

She’s once again decided to work with Stuart Price (Les Rhythmes Digitales), which is right up our street too!

Madonna says: “People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.”

“We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we’ve been doing for thousands of years — they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space. It’s a place where you connect — with your wounds, with your fragility. To rave is an art. It’s about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people.”

She continued, but it got a bit much. We all like a dance, and this album wants to make you do that. We geddit.
