Good news for Tricky fans – he’s just announced a new album called ‘Different When It’s Silent’, which will be out in July.

This is the first release under the Tricky name in six years.

He’s also got a new manager you might recognise called Alan McGee who convinced him not to give this music to other projects. “He goes, ‘Mate, this is a Tricky album. This is the best thing since Maxinquaye. This has got to be a Tricky album.’”

The first track from the album is ‘Out of Place’ which you can listen to right now.

There’ll be a tour of the UK and Europe too, which you’ll be able to find the dates of online if you know how to use a search engine.
