Nia Archives looks like someone who is set to take over the world, having all the ingredients for a full-on, proper star. Like, she’s grabbed drum ‘n’ bass by the lapels and shook it up the most since the day of, say, Roni Size and Goldie – ready to be a face for the genre.
Well, we will see the release of a new album called ‘Emotional Junglist’ on July 24th, which might help.
Her debut album was coming down with plaudits and praise, and has gathered up fans in droves with each move. A Mercury Music Prize nom cemented her place as one of our most exciting artists, no question.
The new album will have features from Jorja Smith and Sampha, which is clearly great company to keep.
