If you’re into the kind of funk you find on ace ’70s Library records, the cinematic soul of classic Serge, and sunshine goodness from the likes of Nu Genea, then you’ll love Thee Marloes. If you’re not on these already, sort that out as soon as you can!

If not, they’re from Indonesia and the ‘Perak’ album is one of our absolute favourites (‘I Know’ is a beautiful, infectious piece of music) so, the good news is that there’s a new LP coming out called ‘Di Hotel Malibu’, which promises even more global good grooves and killer production.

You may have heard some bits from the record already if your radar is tuned in with the good stuff. ‘Under The Silver Moon’ is a gem we played on FREE RANGE, and there was also ‘Harap Dan Ragu’, ‘I’d Be Lost’ and ‘What’s On Your Mind’, too.

The new record will be on all your preferred formats, and you can hear the full thing on 22nd May via Big Crown. Give them a follow on Bandcamp and they’ll be on your favourite streaming services too.
