You know Mike D aka Michael Diamond aka maybe the goofiest guy in the Beastie Boys – well, he’s got a new single out, and seeing as the Beasties are cool guys, we’re sharing it here because good for him!

The single is called ‘Switch Up’ and, importantly (and somewhat remarkably) it is the first proper release since the sad passing of Adam Yauch in 2012.

Made with some of his kids and some other pros, you’ll hear Jungle beats, dubby bits, sound effects and it’s a whole lot of fun. It’s nice to have any of the boys back, and maybe Adam Horowitz might do a new BS2000 album?
