Anyone related to El Michels Affair is worth taking note of, and member and studio whizz Marco Benevento has been releasing some seriously good pop (of an alternative variety – don’t be expecting Dua Lipa or anything like that) under his own steam.

There’s a new album due called ‘Glera’ which is out in July, and to get you in the mood, there’s a new single to check too, which we really like.

Previously, we had ‘Frizzante’, ‘Turandot’ and ‘Houdini’, but this new one is a gem! Featuring Deam Crease, it goes by the name of ‘I Can’t Control This Bliss’, and file next to the fun shit from Eddie Chacon, Clairo, and others – soulful, psychedelic, a bit left of centre, but super listenable.
