Forgive the click bait headline – this isn’t a Daft Punk interview technically – however, it IS an in depth interview with Thomas Bangalter.
That’s still big.
Of course Thomas, along with Guy-Man, were effectively silent since the second Daft Punk album, so whenever there’s any sighting of them since then, it’s very exciting.
While this interview could have done with someone a bit more clued up on the history of Daft Punk, electronic music and underground rave culture, Thomas is still utterly charming and fascinating, so this is well worth a watch.
