Power Pop princess, all-round good egg and Bangles co-founder Susanna Hoffs has some new music coming out, and that’s always worth celebrating isn’t it? You bet your sweet ass it is! So, what’s going on?

This isn’t a new Bangs record, rather, she’s putting out ‘The List’, which is her first release of entirely new material in a very long time! There’s been projects recently of course, but this is all new stuff!

This album has been co-produced with CJ Camerieri and has an array of very cool guests too, such as Edie Brickell, Rufus Wainwright, Jesse Harris, Dan Wilson, Greg Leisz, Ryan Lerman, Desure, Ny Oh, Spencer Zahn, Grant Milliken, and Larry Golding.

She’s touring this LP too, but you suspect it might be the US only for the time being. We’ll see.

This is an intimate affair and the album opener ‘Casablanca’ is available to listen to right now. Lovely typeface too, as you can see below.

Hoffs says the song is inspired by a rewatch of the classic movie of the same name, and an experience she shared walking through the French Quarter with Bob Weir in 1988, where they were followed around by some typically devoted Deadheads.
