Dawn Richard is always worth taking note of, being one of the more interesting artists we have around currently. She shapeshifts between projects and this time around, she’s looking at her heritage.

She’s revealed details of her first solo album in a long time, which is called ‘Creole Culture’ and you will be able to hear the whole thing on October 9th.

Firm favourite Big Freedia appears on it, which is definitely going to be worth your entrance fee alone, before then, let us listen to new track ‘Enough’. In the press release we got, she says of this new song: “‘Enough’ as being about “unlearning the lie that your value has to be earned,” and that; “sometimes the greatest act of resistance is believing you were always worthy.”
