DJ Shadow’s ‘Endtroducing’ holds a very special place in the hearts of many music fans – from sample-chasers, to golden era hip hop heads, to those who simply loved the output – and for all of those people, good news is that the anniversary of its release is being marked with some shows!
Originally released in September 1996, to honour the 30th birthday of it, Shadow will be re-releasing the album on September 18th.
There’ll also be an anniversary tour, which kicks off Stateside next month, but for people this side of the pond, there’ll be a one-off show in London too, at the Barbican, in December.
You can look for your own pre-sale links and tickets and all that stuff – it’s not like any of these big firms are offering us a cut of the traffic we generate for them. Go look on Instagram or Shadow’s official site – you know what you’re doing by now.
Anyway, fun times! A perfect excuse to cue up the extended version of the mighty ‘Organ Donor’ if you ask us!
