You may have heard Thee Heart Tones’ debut on Big Crown – ‘Forever And Ever’ – back in ’24, and wondered what they hell they were up to? Well, they were crafting another gem with the shimmering, sweet soul of their new track ‘Don’t Forget Me Love’.

Their music has been called “Chicano-coloured R&B from golden summers past”, which is pretty spot-on. Most importantly is that this retro soul sounds authentic and made with love, rather than some chancers trying to muscle in on the wake left by Amy Winehouse.

Think of the music from The Womack Sisters and the Dap Tones crew, and you’re somewhere in the right ballpark. They’re very much doing their own thing, it is worth underlining.

The new one is out on Big Crown Records, you can stream and download it everywhere you think you can. Chuck them a couple of quid on Bandcamp so they can pay for their rehearsal rooms and petrol money.
