There’s no-one quite like Erykah Badu, and that’s a good thing. Even if you don’t like her (seriously though, what’s the matter with you?), you have to applaud a one-off like her!

With that in mind, she’s back with a new track with The Alchemist, so it’s chunky hip hop meets witchy soul music, and it’s all so satisfying and just what the doctor ordered.

Better yet, there’s an absolutely batshit video which sees Badu getting variously beat up and robbed, and you need to watch/listen to the whole thing.

What an absolute joy she is!
