The folks at Disco Pogo are doing fine work, and they’ve announced a book dedicated to synth overlords Boards of Canada, who of course game back with a surprise this year!

‘A Disco Pogo Tribute To Boards of Canada’, is, they say, “a deep dive into one of the most important electronic acts of the 20th and 21st centuries.”

They’ve done a killer Andrew Weatherall book and the Bugged Out! book was absolutely joyful brilliance.

They continue that this book will feature their “trademark mix of timeline, family tree, album essays, thinkpieces, features, discography, gear list and much more” and hosts words from Simon Reynolds, David Keenan and Elizabeth Alker.

They’re an independent outfit, and have Warp’s blessing, so that should assuage any feelings of cashing in or any nonsense like that.
