Who fancies some complicated, but very listenable jazz? Right, now we’ve got rid of all the cowards who said ‘no thanks’, let’s get down to it for a hot new release.
Zohar & Adam have announced their debut album Osmosis, out November 6 via Mack Avenue Records.
Apparently, it’s a genre hopping thing with hip hop and neo soul and all that good stuff – but the one we heard is some lovely, busy, hard bop called ‘For Chick’.
When asked about the release the duo said, “Osmosis encapsulates the journey of us finding our sound as Zohar & Adam. We like to think outside of genre while also honoring our own musical roots. Our hope with this record was to let those influences permeate each other to become something new. We wanted to combine the new voices of our generation, with those of the legends who played a vital part in the changes in music we have benefited from. We couldn’t be more grateful to every single person who’s made Osmosis possible, and it’s been an honor to create something as siblings that feels like a direct reflection of our bond.”
Cool!
