Stevie Wonder’s generational run of albums from the ’70s is not news to anyone, but he’s celebrating the 50th anniversary of the all-conquering ‘Songs In The Key Of Life’ with a big ol’ tour, giving fans the chance to lose their minds to ‘Another Star’, ‘Knocks Me Off My Feet’, ‘As’, and loads more.

The album itself is a long, detailed, sprawling soul-funk-jazz-pop-fusion epic, which came with four bonus tracks on a separate 45 on release. Massive.

Well, there was even more he could have shared too, with ANOTHER four tracks from the vaults from the time of making the LP. Incredible really.

Chosen by Stevie himself, the tracks are called ‘It’s Easier’, ‘My Life Story of Love’, ‘I Can See the Sun in Late December’, and ‘I’m Into Livin’’, and they’re available on your favourite streaming platforms to get stuck into right now.

It’s staggering that they are such high quality, given the amount that was put into the original release.

“We’ve lived with Songs in the Key of Life for fifty years, but there’s still more to hear,” Wonder said in a press release. “We didn’t add these songs to the album, but they were part of what I was feeling and discovering as we made it. They bring me back to that time in my life, and now they get to become part of yours.”
