Larry Heard is, as you already know, a leading light in the world of dance music – performing as part of Fingers Inc, Mr Fingers, and countless other iterations. When you’re listening to ‘Can You Feel It?’, it doesn’t sound like it’s from 1988 – it still sounds like it’s from some utopian future from outer space!

Well, Heard has a book out which looks fantastic – a photo memoir that follows his career across the world and decades, coming in at a whopping 380 pages!

In it, you’ll see thousands of photographs, flyers, and more, documenting the scene and many, never seen before. This looks essential.

‘On My Way’ also features words taken from hours of interviews, while looking at evolving tastes, music gear, artwork, and fashions, all pinned around one of the pivotal faces of the scene. And it’s always fun looking at old flyers and photos from club nights.

And for £29.99, you can’t really grumble at the price either. Get your copy here.
