The Nerves are great and Power Pop royalty for our money. And they recorded the original version of ‘Hanging On The Telephone’, so y’know, they know how to knock out some bangers.

A full show has been uploaded to YouTube which shows just how great they are, and of course you can watch it below.

This video coincides with the announcement from Third Man Records who are releasing the “definitive anthology” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the trio’s self-titled 1976 EP.

‘The Nerves – Best Collection’ “gathers 66 glorious minutes of studio, live, and demo recordings, compiled in close association with surviving members Paul Collins and Peter Case along with the late Jack Lee’s daughter Cynthia.”

Ace! Now, watch this.
