Have you heard the acid latest from Das Koolies? If you didn’t know, the Super Furries minus Gruff are making some ace music under this new guise and it’s more synth forward and of course, it’s super fun Welsh psychedelic business as usual!

The new track is called ‘Katal’ and comes with Gabe Gurnsey remixes, and is all part of the build-up for the new LP called ‘DK.01’.

It has been called an “irresistible gazpacho of warped island-techno-kraut-psych” by themselves, and we’re not in the mood to disagree. There’ll be live shows too, starting with a gig at Rough Trade East on Friday 22nd September, which is when the LP drops too. Good stuff.
